Our safety and regulatory expert, Janine McCartney, Ph.D., MBA, CSP, CHST, CSHO, CSHO, as a Certified Safety Professional, she has worked in chemical manufacturing, product manufacturing, wood products both logging and wood products manufacturing, heavy equipment, construction, refineries, petrochemical industry, pipeline construction, wellsite exploration and maritime port facilities. Dr. McCartney has worked as a wellsite geologist, exploration geologist, and pipeline regulatory expert in the field. She was one of the first women to work in the US as a Field Geologist. She has held safety positions with two Fortune 300 companies and served as a Safety Officer II with OSHA Consultation. Dr. McCartney is also an Adjunct Faculty with Texas Engineering Extension (TEEX) at Texas A&M University and has been an Outreach OSHA trainer for 18 years in Construction and General Industry. Her expertise is invaluable in providing top-tier safety consulting, Safety Expert Witness services for contests to federal agency citations and Whistleblower cases, Contest to OSHA Citations, and litigation expert witness services (including depositions and trial testimony).

Having worked for OSHA Consultation as a Safety Officer II, she has expert knowledge of OSHA policy and how the agency administers their policies, such as the Multi-employer Worksite Citation policy. Her experience as a technical Expert in the take or pay litigation of the 1980’s and 1990’s have proved to be invaluable foundation to her has an Expert Witness.
